Speaker Intro: Marcus Jannitto

ree

It's great to begin introducing some of our 2026 speakers for the Convention some are new to EAC and others are welcome returnees, like Marcus Jannitto, continuing the series of presentations promoting thinking and development around airshows and wider leadership.

In 2026 he will be delving into culture;

"Culture is KING! Why do people like some air shows and love others? Why do some support service providers and performers seek out certain shows and not others? It’s the vibe. All air shows define themselves by what they do. Great air shows are defined by how and why they do it: in other words, by their CULTURE."

Beyond his varied military service, Marcus is passionate about airshows and leadership development. He served on the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) Board of Directors as Vice Chair and directed the Rhode Island Open House and Air Show for 25 years, where he also facilitated two ICAS Academies. He is a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach, working with businesses, non-profits, and government agencies across Southern New England on culture change and strategic planning. He also spent 10 years as an athletic administrator, coach, and adjunct faculty member at both Roger Williams University and Salve Regina University, and continues to mentor high school and college athletic teams on peer leadership and team culture.
