The 2025 European Airshow Council (EAC) Convention, held from February 26th to 28th at the Prague Congress Centre, has achieved remarkable success, uniting representatives from 29 nationalities across all facets of the airshow community. This year’s convention showcased the collective passion and dedication to aviation, attracting top professionals from both the military and civilian sectors.


The event featured prominent participation from five national display teams and eight military fast jet solo display teams, alongside numerous celebrated display pilots from the civilian world. Their presence highlighted the exceptional talent and diversity that characterise the airshow industry, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.



Guest presenters from 11 nations conducted a series of insightful sessions covering essential topics ranging from safety protocols to emerging technologies in aerial performance. Attendees gained valuable knowledge and practical strategies that will enhance airshow standards and promote safe, engaging experiences for audiences worldwide.


"The turnout and engagement at this year’s convention exceeded our expectations," said Dr Manolis Karachalios, the EAC Chairman. "It is an incredible opportunity for professionals in the airshow community to come together, share insights, and lay the groundwork for future airshows. The exchange of ideas was truly inspiring."

Looking forward, the EAC is excited to continue building on the successes of this convention as it prepares for future events that will further connect and strengthen the global airshow community. The EAC announced the dates of the 25-27 February 2026 for the next convention and will confirm the host venue in late March.
