Like many the airshow world woke to the tragic news of Carolyn's passing this morning.
All at the EAC and the wider airshow community are in shock and our thoughts, warm wishes and condolences go to the Grace family, friends and colleagues at Air Leasing & Ultimate Warbirds.
A regular at many airshow's of the last 3 decades, Carolyn was one of a very small number of female Spitfire pilots, seen flying her beloved ML407, 2 seat Spitfire at airshow's across the UK and Europe.
For those that knew or met Carolyn, you could not help but be impressed by her story, drive and determination, a truly inspirational character, that has tragically been taken far to soon.
