The National Warbird Operators Conference (NWOC) sponsors the 20 Under 40 Award for individuals involved in any aspect of the warbird community. This award is to recognize accomplishment and leadership of individuals who are the next generation to take care of and tell the history of our beloved flying machines. It is also meant to promote them across the community and to build relationships worldwide.
The application process for the class of 2025 is open now until June 27, 2025. The winners will be announced the week prior to Oshkosh and those that attend Oshkosh will be introduced publicly at the Warbird picnic on Tuesday evening.
Anyone can nominate using the form below. Nominees should not have reached their 41st Birthday by July 2025. As I said above, they are looking for people from any discipline….mechanics/engineers, ground support, airshow organisers and announcers, photographers and of course pilots!
